At the Heart and Vascular Center at Rockford Health System, we offer Women’s Cardiac Risk Assessments where you’ll receive a one-on-one private consultation with a nurse practitioner in collaboration with a cardiologist.
The assessment includes:
- A screening for risk factors
- Cholesterol panel
- Blood pressure
- Blood sugar
- EKG
- A weight check with body mass index and hip/waist ratio
- Peripheral/vascular evaluation
- Counseling on diet, exercise and smoking cessation, as needed.
