Join us for Healthy Woman 2010 with keynote speaker Lisa Earle McLeod on Monday, May 10, at Giovanni's. Lisa is a nationally syndicated newspaper columnist, business consultant and inspriational thought-leader. Lisa's humorous touching talk strikes a chord with the overworked, undervalued and exhausted.
Lisa shows people why:
- Trying to be perfect doesn't make people like you more, it makes them like you less,
- TV and shopping are cheap substitutes for connecting and making a difference, and
- Your regular old life can be a special occasion, if you let it.
Each participant will receive a copy of Lisa's book Forget Perfect: Finding Joy, Meaning and Satisfaction in the Life You've Already Got and the You You Already Are. There will be a Health and Wellness Expo from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the keynote address and dinner at 6:30 p.m. The cost of the event is $20.
